Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea" is an Irish actor and writer. Born on March 16, 1984. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after appearing in small parts for Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. After winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for various panel shows where she has become a fixture. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister named Sinead. In 2012 she was the only woman to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when Bea was three years old, though she did not know what happened to him until she was 13. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a former professional jockey. They were obsessed with racing and horses. In her youth Bea was an assistant tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she wasn't interested in the racing industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
